Hi Nicki, this is my first time posting a comment on a blog! I love to cook anything from my mom’s classic recipes like chicken and dumplings(the southern version). I have never used an apron before, which is evident from my spotted/splattered shirts! It is a really pretty apron, I know you did a good job on it!

I just subscribed to your feed and I really enjoy your site. My New Year's resolution was to teach myself how to sew (never done it in my 34 years!) and an apron is on my list. My favorite thing to cook for my family is chicken corn chowder in the winter. It is easy to make, but most of all, everyone here enjoys it so much. I recently subscribed and look forward to reading your posts. I am the only person I know that wears an apron, so it’s wonderful to read here that I am in good company! I love to cook so many things, but I guess my favorite would be adapting classic recipes to suit my vegetarian family. Nothing like comfort foods.

What a pretty apron! My favorite thing to cook is chicken Marsala. I love dredging the thin chicken cutlets in the flour, slicing the mushrooms, and smelling the sweet Marsala wine as it cooks down.
