I'd say we just got our first real day of fall in Seattle yesterday. We have been enjoying the extended summer here in the northwest, so I haven't given fall too much thought.

If you want to have family fun picking the fruit yourself, there may be organizations in your area that allow you to do it for FREE and help the needy in the process. If you are in the Seattle area Glean It gets community members together to pick fruit that would otherwise rot on the trees and gives it to the needy. A bonus is that you get to keep as much as you want too!

We went on the first day of fall!! It was a blast though I wish I would have weighed my bag of apples because I'm not sure what kind of "deal" we got. It wasn't that large of a bag but their "eat whatever you can while you're here for free" policy paid off for us!

I really feel like it is fall when we go to the pumpkin patch in October. To me, pumpkins just yell FALL!

And I LOVE rocking with my girls. It is so nice.
