I'm hungry and that looks so goo! I'll have to try it. I try to only buy meats that are nitrate/nitrite free and that is hard to find in pepperoni (unless you go to whole foods). I'll have to try the deli counter to see what I can find. Good tip! Andrea’s last blog post..Ruby's Clips

And, whatever you do, don't discount your local pizza chain as a great source of pepperoni (and other toppings). My husband owns a franchise, and we have a few customers who only come in for toppings and dough, which we sell at cost. With the economy being where it is, we look at it as a measure of goodwill.
