Snack In A Cone

Sometimes the girls get sick of the same old snacks. They only want to eat so many goldfish, raisins and other typical preschooler foods. Today I opened my pantry and wondered what I could make for an afternoon snack that they won’t take one bite of and waste. Then I noticed a box of ice cream cones. We haven’t used them in a while so they’d made their way to the back of the shelf.

Lightbulb! I’ll put something healthy in the cones! Today I’m filling them with raisins, but you could use anything. It all comes back to repurposing and thinking of things in a new way.

Why I do what I do ~ For the little girl wearing two princess skirts over her pajamas … just in case we didn’t know she’s a princess already :)

Side note … I decided to join the rest of the world on Twitter  (I know, I’m a little late on this one). Come find me, my name is DomesticCents.

This is so cute! I know this strays a little from healthy, but one time, my mom made cupcakes in ice cream cones!
