This week our family is going to work on filling our box for Operation Christmas Child, a program organized by Samaritan’s Purse. They send thousands of shoeboxes filled with small gifts to underprivileged children all over the world. If you want to begin your holiday season by investing in something meaningful you might want to consider checking this out. It’s a great way to get your kids involved and increase their world view in a personal, hands-on way.

Why I do what I do ~ because tonight when my washing machine was in the spin cycle, and a little unbalanced, my daughter perked up and said, “Mommy, I hear a helicopter!”
