Today the second installment of Holidays By Hand will be featured at Small Notebook with a Paper Crafts theme. I have a post featured there along with a lot of other great ideas for the holidays. If you’re looking for personal gift ideas on a thrifty budget then you’ll definitely want to follow the Holidays by Hand series.

Here are some Paper Craft ideas that I enjoyed:

Paper Stars by Lost Button Studio
This Adorable Notebook from Simply Vintagegirl

Gifts? Already?

This week our family is going to work on filling our box for Operation Christmas Child, a program organized by Samaritan’s Purse. They send thousands of shoeboxes filled with small gifts to underprivileged children all over the world. If you want to begin your holiday season by investing in something meaningful you might want to consider checking this out. It’s a great way to get your kids involved and increase their world view in a personal, hands-on way.

Why I do what I do ~ because tonight when my washing machine was in the spin cycle, and a little unbalanced, my daughter perked up and said, “Mommy, I hear a helicopter!”
