Why I do what I do ~ Isn’t it odd how early children learn to lie? Chloe wanted to take her nap in the same room as her cousins today. I decided to allow it. The other 2 girls fell asleep quickly while my daughter tossed and turned hoping one of them would peek up at her so she could burst into giggles (I know because I was spying). Then she calls me into the room (clearly she’s become bored) and says, “Mom, Jazmyn’s bugging me,” with the straightest face. She looked completely serious. Had I not been observing the whole thing I might have thought Jazmyn was pretending to sleep in order to get out of trouble but no … my daughter was trying her hand at lying … I thought I had some time before this came into play!Have you liked Domestic Cents on Facebook yet?
