(I caught this smile (which I’m never able to catch on camera) when we went to see baby chicks at a friend’s house a few days ago.)

This weekend promises to be the warmest of the year so far where I live. There is nothing like a perfect-weather-weekend to put you in an awesome mood. Even my daughter is asking if she can go outside yet, at 7 a.m.

Why I do what I do ~ Chloe – “Mama, I’m going to get a brother.” Me – “You’re getting a baby brother?” Chloe - “No (laughing like I’m ridiculous). I’m going to get a BIG brother.” (Note to my mom and mother-in-law: NO … she wasn’t implying anything. There isn’t anyone on the way.)

You better watch out Nicki. When my son told me he was getting a sister, I found out a month later I was pregnant, and it was a girl. ;)
