You’re getting this post a day early because we’re headed out for a few days. I’m about to hop in the car for a 2-1/2 hour car ride with my daughter. Some people would dread that scenario – driving somewhat far without another adult in the passenger’s seat to deal with the kids in back. I don’t. I actually look forward to it. I’ve been blessed with a kid that likes car rides and I like to drive. Good combo. Have a great weekend!

Why I do what I do ~ David went to into Chloe’s room to tuck her in right before she fell asleep. This won’t make much sense unless I inform you that he shaves his head. My daughter has remarked about his lack of hair before, but this particular night she said, “Daddy you don’t have any hair. Maybe some day it’ll grow back, … … purple!”
