Good Reads: It’s Getting Cold

Finished mittens!
It’s been a busy week around here. It’s starting to remain cold where I live. The kids are wearing their winter coats every day now. The furnace runs multiple times per day, not just occasionally and I’m having to warm up my vehicle to defrost the windows. All signs – I need to get into gear and winterize. I’ve been packing summer things away, putting in storm windows, cleaning up the yard etc. all week long.

That doesn’t mean that I didn’t cuddle up with a cup of tea or my first hot cocoa and get some great reading in though … I hope you’re all having a wonderful weekend! Enjoy some cool finds from my Reader~

Why I do what I do ~ A couple funny randoms: Chloe accidentally calls her winter scarf a ’skirt.’ And she’s still also accidentally calling her gloves, ‘clubs.’ So … she wears a coat, a skirt and clubs to keep her warm :)
