Good Reads: It’s My Birthday

Happy Friday everyone. Today is my birthday Having become a mother, I gladly recognize the person that should get some recognition on this day – my mom (ok Dad, you too). My parents are awesome. Sorry guys. I didn’t get you a gift. Aren’t they cute?

I’m hoping for a great, relaxing weekend with my family. Here are some great reads from this week.

• My Super Charged Life has a post called Top 10 Reasons Living With Debt – BITES! I concur.
• Squawkfox has a Granola Bar Recipe that I’d like to try just as soon as I can find someone that will let me borrow a dehydrator.
• Make and Takes has a great Outdoor Tablecloth Hack to help the tablecloth stay put and not fly away on you. Love it.
• The Wisdom Journal has the Easiest Cookie Recipe Ever. It’s easy and frugal – right up my alley.
• Frugal Dad listed 5 Secrets To Sustaining Good Financial Habits. This is a must read for anyone trying to remain disciplined with your finances.
• Musings Of A Housewife posted instructions for How To Create A Button Code, which is GREAT for bloggers like me who have no idea how to do anything but write.
• Mom’s Kitchen … And Stuff has a really helpful post on Cloth Diapering. Very frugal and economically conscious. Gotta love that.

Why I do what I do ~ We’ve taught Chloe what Mommy and Daddy’s real names are. Now all her Barbies are calling me Nicki. Hmmmm … I’m unsure of how I feel about that.
