I love sunrises. I’m usually up early enough to see them but I don’t always take the time to look. Every now and then my home fills with the glowing, golden light of morning that begs me to peak out the curtains and soak in its beauty. It’s renewing and feels sacred. I feel like I should be quiet, whisper even. It beckons, “Today is new – what are you going to do with it?”

Why I do what I do ~ Spinning around for me to see, my daughter said, “Mama! Look at my new elephant!” Which caused me to say, “You’re what?” Noticing that it was a Mama-doesn’t-get-it-moment, she pointed to her clothes said a little slower, “My new elephant.” I got it …. her new “outfit.”
