Trouble In Paradise

in My Thoughts

Well, my inexperience has made me pay sorely today. I attempted to upgrade Wordpress and ended up writing over my entire site. Every post, every comment, everything is gone. I have backups for about half of my posts, so as I have time those will be available again.

I hope you’ll stick with me as I move forward and try to rebuild what I have going here. Many thanks to each of my subscribers. I assure you I’ll be back on Monday. See you then.

Nicki

Oh goodness, what a disappointing thing to happen! I know that’s not easy to repair.

I must say I like this clean white theme — so refreshing.

Thanks Rachel, I like the cleaner interface also. Hopefully I can personalize it a little better in the weeks to come!

Oh no! I have to say I gasped audibly when I read this…this is my biggest nightmare, and thus is why I still have not upgraded my Wordpress. I am so sorry this has happened, but we all love your site and aren’t going anywhere!

Been there my friend. Thankfully I did it just a month after starting a blog and had a backup in place. I recently upgraded again and the new interface is awful. Picture placement no longer works. I’m considering a switch to a different blogging engine after all these disapointments.

Then again it is free, I love free.
