Have you ever found yourself in a situation where impatience cost you a great deal more than it saved you? Perhaps you were speeding only to be stopped and given a ticket. Maybe you made an impulsive purchase on what you thought to be a one-time deal, only to find you’d overpaid. Have you ever been impatient with someone you love and found that it pushed them away? Has impatience cost you your nerves, your calm or your peace of mind?
I have a guest post at Clever Dude titled Impatience Is Costly that I’d love for you to check out. Patience and the ability to pace ourselves can save us in so many ways. What’s your experience with impatience? Head over and add to the discussion.
Why I do what I do ~ Today Chloe told me that I’m her best friend. I could have melted right then and there. I don’t think I’ll ever forget that.

The other day it cost me about $15. I got this obsession with having to have a book that day. So I went to Barnes & Noble (huge mistake, I don’t know why I ever go there) and bought the book for the ridiculous price of $24. Later that day I got on Amazon and saw that I could have bought it for $5 plus s/h.
I realize it’s only $15, but I beat myself up over it pretty badly. It was a stupid thing to do, and hopefully I’ve learned from my mistake. And I will never go to Barnes & Noble again.
About what Chloe said: I’m so happy for you both!
