We here in Indiana (although nothing like what it sounds like you get) can get rather hot. We clocked in last week on our outdoor thermo at 93.4 degrees, in May mind you. Crazy! That is usually July/August temps. But we fought it off by opening doors/windows at night, first sign of sunshine we pull all the shades and shut up the house. Turn on the ceiling fans and the place stays nice and cool all day. Once night rolls around, we do it all again... Ceiling fans also important.
